1281 7Place the pinion thrust washer in the gearcase with chamfered side fadng top of the gearcasePosition the thrust bearing then the pinion
1291 8Lubricate,
engage the pinion
install the driveshaftRotate the shaft to
1301 9Position the water intake screen in the gearcase with tabs
facing up
1311 10Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of a
new impeller plate gasketPosition the gasket and impeller plate on the gearcase
1321 11Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the
impeller drive pin
CD Place the
pin on flat of the driveshaft
112Oil and install new water pump grommet
1341 13Lightly coat the exterior of the impeller cup with OMC
Gasket Sealing CompoundPlace the impeller cup in the impeller housingLightly oil the impeller blades and install the impeller in the housing in counterclockwise direction
