Magneto Plate ServicingColt, Junior Removal

i twist and remove all spark plug leads

lead, remove exhaust cover screw to detach the armature plate ground wire Remove screw below armature plate
INotel Remove screw before attempting to remove armature plateLift armature plate from crankcaseRemove liner and washer Spark plug lead can be removed by removing clamp on bottom side of armature plateDisassembly All components may be removed from the armature plate by removing the attaching screwsThe spark plug lead can be pulled from the ignition coilFor cleaning, inspection, testing and repair, refer to Magneto Ignition SystemsGeneral InformationAssembly Assemble components which were removed from the magneto armature plateFollow the reverse order of disassembly and pay particular attention to the following'sl 1Correct locating of the ignition coil is governed by machined mounting surfaces on the armature plateCoil lamination heels should be flush with machined surfaces
