Ignition Component ReplacementCD2UL Ignition System i twist and remove all spark plug leads'" 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,
!sl2Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is being replaced
If the charge coil or ignition module is being replaced, separate the bullet connectors underneath the ignition module
!]4Remove the wire clamp from the ignition platef.jl5L!J from the powerheadLoosen the five ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate
6Remove the plate from bottom of the ignition plate7Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component
8Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition plateConnect bullet connectors if necessary
