key with outer L!.I edge parallel to centerline of crankshaftApply OMC Nut Lock to the cam drive pin and install the pin into the crankshaftInstall the cam, making certain the side marked ''TOP'' is up
key with outer edge parallel to centerline of crankshaft and single upset mark facing downInstall the cam Q)making certain the side marked "TOP" is upIf removed, install the retaining ring with tapered side facing down
94R, Deluxe thru ModelsInstall the flywheel key with outer edge parallel to centerline of crankshaft and single upset mark facing down2Clean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with OMC Cleaning Solvent and let dryThese surfaces must be clean and dry to allow proper locking of the tapers3Align the flywheel keyway and install flywheelCoat the threads of the flywheel nut with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundInstall the nut and torque to the correct valueSee chart belowFlywheel Nut Torque Chart
