Carburetor Servicingthru Deluxe Removal3, BRH
1Remove the choke knob knob
and the low-speed adjustment
2Remove the lower engine cover as follows :
Loosen the front and rear screws retaining the lower engine cover Disengage starboard side of the cover from the port side Spread the cover enough to remove from the powerhead
i twist and remove spark plug leads
'" 3To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, Disconnect the fuel hose at the carburetor On integral tank model, fuel will flow from the hose when
disconnectedPlug the hose with smooth surfaced object
5 Remove the two carburetor retaining nuts Remove the
carburetor and gasket from the intake manifold
6If necessary, remove the four screws retaining the
intake manifold, fuel connector support, and leaf valve to the powerheadRemove the intake manifold CD and leaf plate Q) and discard the gaskets
