Shift Cable20 thru 30 1Place engine shift lever in "Neutral" position(Propeller shaft will turn freely when in "Neutral" position 2Check that remote control handle is in "Neutral" position and the fast idle lever in "Run" (latched) position3Place shift cable through anchor bracket r:jl
4Install shift cable casing guide on shoulder bolt of shift lever armInstall the flat washer and locking nut supplied with engineDo not substitute locknut, Tighten locknut securely
5Adjust the length of the shift cable by turning the knurled adjusting nut on the shift cable unlit the cable trunnion fits into the trunnion anchor pocket in trunnion anchor blo;k
6Secure shift cable in anchor bracket by installing screw and locknutTighten screw securely

1Place throttle cable trunnion into idle bracket2Attach spring clip to guide by sliding onto side of guide and turning until holes in spring clip snap over both pins on guide
