Installation of Control Cabl es into Remote Con trolSurface Mount Cable Installation, Starboard
1Place term inal eye of shift cable over pivot pin shift cable arm, as shownPlace shift cable trunnion locating hole in remote control, as shown
I Note Ilf the terminal eye of remote cable will not seat on pivot pin, straighten cable to eliminate any twisting in cableThis will allow cable end to lie flat on pivot pin
2Hold shift cable terminal eye in position on pivot pin and install washer and cotter pin Bend cotter pin around pivot pin as shown
3With control handle in neutral, be sure that the throttle lever is positioned as shownPlace terminal eye of throttle cable over throttle lever pivot pin Place throttle cable trunnion in locating hole in remote control, as shownInstall washer and cotter pin CD Bend cotter pin around pivot pin
