1Remove shift and throttle cable clamps2Remove cotter pins attaching shift and throttle cables and remove the cables Remove neutral start switch (if equipped)4 Make sure lever is in the neutral position and remove the one screw retaining the lever5Remove neutral lock plate6 Remove screw retaining throttle arm
7 Remove washer, retainer, spring and throttle arm as an assembly8 Remove driveshaft
