Assembly 1Lubricate the armature shaft bearing surface with one drop of SAE No10 oilLubricate pinion helix on armature shaft with General Electric Versilube OMC PIN 330615 Igl
2If removed, install retaining ring and washer E.J end of armature shaft
on drive
3Assemble drive end cappinionanti -drift springand spacer to drive end of armature shaftInstall new locknutUsing strap wrench to prevent damage to armature, tighten nut to torque of 240-300 in Ibs (20-25 ft Ibs (27-34 Nm)4Assemble armature to frame and magnet assembly, aligning marks on drive cap end and frame
EJ end cap with long lead in slotPosition the insulatorsflat washer CD, lock washer Q), and nut as shown in figure
5Install insulated brush and terminal set in commutator
1Note Reversing these brushes will cause motor to run backwards
