Electric Starter Servicing, 9.9 and 15 Removal
INote Disconnect the battery cables at the battery1Remove the two retaining screws
2 Disconnect the starter lead at the terminal of the starter
on the bottom
Disassembly Remove the following:
1Two thru-bolts
2Drive end cap and the armature from the frame and t=J magnet assembly 3Brush end cap
