1131 12Remove the pinion, thrust w.ashers, and thrust bearing
from the gearcase
13Inspect the upper end of the shift rod for burrsRemove the burrs using 400 grit wet or dry sandpaperSlide the shift rod out of the gearcaser:;-;l 14Remove all the components from the propeller shaft except the clutch dogInspect the components for excessive wearr:;-;;l 15Slide the clutch dog forward and off the propeller shaftBe careful not to lose the two detent balls and the spring 9595
