Water Pump Servicing20, 25, 30 Disassembly
1Remove gearcase assembly as described in earcase Servicing, this Section
2Remove the six impeller housing screws and washers
3Pull up on the driveshaft and remove the driveshaft with the water pump assembly from the gearcaseRemove the water pump assembly from the driveshaft4Remove the impeller plate and gasketDiscard the gasket5Scrape all gasket material from the plate and gearcase6 Remove the water tube grommet and a-rings from the impeller housing7Inspect all components for excessive wearAssembly
1and install the shift rod bushing housing
