1Loosen the swivel bracket adjustment screwLift the pilot shaft and steering bracket from the swivel bracketThe upper thrust washerliner and friction block may come out with the pilot shaftIf not, remove these components from the swivel bracket2Remove the lower thrust washer bushing from the swivel bracket

3Remove the upper front mount from the steering bracket
Disassemble the pilot shaft from the steering bracket by removing the four screws
