Remove the three screws retaining the idle relief mufflerRemove the mufflerDiscard the muffler gasket and seals from the screws

remove the port and starboard lower mount housingSlide the mount housing bumper from between the lower front mount and the exhaust housing'111 10Remove the nuts and washers from the two upper side mounts f121 11Remove the nut and the washer from the upper front mountSeparate the exhaust housing from the swivel bracket assemblyr:til 12Remove the two screws ret ai ng the cover mou nt bracket to the exhaust housing and remove the bracketRemove and discard the exhaust housing to lower engine cover seal '111 f1Ol 13Remove the upper side mounts and the lower front mount from the exhaust housingf1Ol 14Remove the nuts from inside of the exhaust housing that retain both lower side mounts to the exhaust housing15Refer to Cleaning and Inspection at the beginning of this sectionAssembly and Installation INotellf not otherwise specified, apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of all screwsf1Ol 1Install the two lower side mounts Tighten the nuts to torque of 144-168 inIbs(16-19 Nm)
