INotel Disconnect the battery cables at the battery1Shift the gearcase into NEUTRALDisconnect the starter motor red lead at the motor2Attach continuity light or ohmmeter between the starter lead and the neutral start switch lead at the terminal board3The continuity light or ohmmeter should show continuity
ill continuity should be indicated in either positionf3l 5If adjustment is required, remove and swing the fuel pump
