1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leadsSeparate the stop switch 1-pin Amphenol connector
r:;l 3Remove the stop switch and ignition module ground leads from the ignition coil mounting screw
1Jl 41 ORS and 14 modelsremove the choke knob from the
choke knob detent
10KC, KS modelsdisconnect the fuel hoses from the primerMark the hoses for correct reassemblyf4l 5Tie slip knot in the starter rope just in front of the starter L!:.I assembly and let the knot engage the starter pulleyRemove the starter handle and bumper from the starter rope 6Disconnect the overboard water indicator hose from the fitting on the lower engine cover
