6Using punch and mallet, drive the steel pin that retains the inner handle from the steering handle
INotel Do not remove inner handle except to replace itGQl 7Remove the plastic inner handle from the metal outer handle by driving the outer handle off with mallet and punchInner handle is bonded to outer handleAfter removing, chip away remnants of inner handleRemove the throttle cable seal from the inner handleInspection 1Inspect the throttle cable for kinks and wearReplace if necessary2Inspect the steering handle components for wear, cracks and other damageReplace damaged parts3Refer to Section 3, Ignition System, to test the stop buttonAssembly
