powerhead and exhaust adapter gasket surfacesInstall new exhaust adapter gasket dry, use no sealer
Coat the driveshaft splines with OMC Moly LubeDo not allow excess grease to remain on the top of driveshaft
3Use OMC Universal Puller and Lifting Eye PI 321537 or OMC Lifting Fixture PI 396748 to lower the powerhead assembly into placeIf necessary, rotate the flywheel in clockwise direction to align crankshaft and driveshaft splines4 Coat the threads of the exhaust housing to powerhead screws with OMC Gel Seal II and install them Torque the screws in stages to 18-20 ft Ibs(25 -27 Nm)
