OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the O-ring flange and aft support flange of the propeller shaft bearing housing
Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the reverse gear thrust washerPlace the thrust washer in the propoller shaft bearinghousing
29Install the propeller shaft bearing housing in the gearcase with screw holes in vertical position and drain slot facing down

Apply OMC Nut Lock to threads of the propeller housing retainer screwsInstall the retainers and tighten the screws to torque of 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm)Pressure and vacuum test the gearcase as follows:
