1161 6Check for leaks between emulsion pickup tube and carburetor body Invert carburetor body and fill idle circuit with isopropyl alcohol Check for leaks at point If leak occurs, blow dry and apply drop of OMC Ultra Lock at poi nt Assembly
[3!] 1Install new high speed nozzle gasket [3!] 2Install the float and inlet valve assembly [3!] 3Install the intermediate air bleed orifice 1181 4Install the high speed orificegasket, and drain plug [3!] 5Install components of slow speed needle Place one O-ring on threaded end of adapter sleeve Lubricate O-ring with outboard lubricantPlace O-ring in groove on needle head Install adapter sleeve and torque to 30-35 inIbs(3-4 Nm) Install needle and springTurn in carefully until it lightly contacts seat Back out needle for initial setting; turns for 40 or 234 turns for 48, 50If the slow speed needle components do not resemble those in Figure 17, replace them with Service Kit PIN 433065
