TroubleshootingPower Supply Before beginning this procedure, be sure: Key switch is OFF and emergency ignition cutoff switch cap and lanyard is removed Engine battery is fully charged Engine battery cables are connectedThis procedure is to be used with the fold-out wiring schematic located at the end of this section1Connect voltmeter black lead to clean engine ground 2Check for voltage at Point V1 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check battery condition and connections 3Check for voltage at Point V2 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check engine harness Red 14 gauge lead4Check for voltage at Point V3 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check condition of engine harness RedPurple 16 gauge lead and engine harness 20 amp fuse PIN 5108845Push trim switch DOWN and check for voltage at Point V4 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check condition of connector and trim switch6Push trim switch DOWN and check for voltage at Point V5 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check condition of relayRefer to Relay Ohmmeter Tests, this Section 7Push trim switch DOWN and check for voltage at connector C2 If voltage, service trim motor If no voltage, check trim harness Green lead8 Push trim switch UP and check for voltage at Point V6 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check condition of connector and trim switch9Push trim switch UP and check for voltage at Point V7 If voltage, go to Step 10 If no voltage, check condition of relayRefer to Relay Ohmmeter Tests, this Section10Push trim switch UP and check for voltage at connector C2 If voltage service trim motor If no voltage, check trim harness Blue lead
