Remove nut, two washers, shims (if required) and Remove the spool valveCarefully pry and remove two spool valve sealsRemove and discard two spool valve housing -rings
1221 14Remove and discard three a-rings in the cylinder rod
bore of the housing15Clean the cylinder, housing and components in clean solventBlow dry using compressed air with less than 25 psi

It is important 'to keep all components free of dust or dirt during assemblyLightly oil all components and a-rings using OMC Power TrimlTilt and Power Steering Fluid or GM Dexron II
