bly into the reservoir until upper bearing seats on reservoir shoulder5Use No.3 internal retaining ring pliers to install the internal retaining ring with its sharp, square edges facing up6Coat the gerotor and pump housing bore with GM Dexron IMatch the alignment dots on the gerotor gears and install gerotor in housingIf the gerotor is being reused, it must be placed in the housing observing its original orientation7Coat two new O-rings (.795 .104" and 2.350 .140") with GM Dexron I and install in pump housing grooves' 141 8Match the alignment bushings and install the gerotor and pump housingInstall the four retaining screws and torque to 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm) following an "x" pattern1421 9Lightly coat the lips of new shaft seal with OMC TripleGuard greaseLightly coat the seal 0.0with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundPress into place until completely seated in reservoir1431 10Using new O-rings lubricated with GM Dexron I, install the pressure relief valve components in the forward end of the reservoir O-ring (.610 .104") Seat Ball Guide Spring (Heavy) Housing and O-ring (.736 .103")
