i 23Remove the pinion bearing only if it needs to be replacedBefore attempting removal, take out the bearing retaining screw on the side of the gearcase, otherwise the gearcase will be damagedReplace the screw's O-ring24If the pinion bearing must be replaced, use OMC Bearing Remover and Installer PIN 391257 and assemble it as follows:

391260 Plate PIN 326582 Rod PI 326579 Remover
