locating one end of it and then, with small screwdriver, pry the end of the spring out of the grooveContinue to work your way along the spring, prying it out of the groove, until its entire length is out of the groove, COB3111

and separate the propeller shaft from the forward bearing housing and remove the clutch dog from the propeller shaftDiscard the clutch dog pin retaining spring
