f1l 1Place new O-ring on the driveshaftCoat the driveshaft with OMC Moly LubeDo not coat top surface of the driveshaft as lubricant here may prevent seating ofthe driveshaft in the crankshaftf21 2Apply Scotch Grip Rubber Adhesive 1300 to the lower housing seal inner surfacesPosition two new seals on the housing Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the seal outer surfaces and position the housing on the gearcase3Slide the gearcase into place making sure the driveshaft engages the crankshaft, the water tube enters the water pump, and the lower inner exhaust housing does not slip out of positionApply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to threads of gearcase retaining screwsInstall the screws and tighten to the following torques:
