8For trim and tilt unit servicing information, refer to Section 9Assembly INotel Before proceeding, be sure all components have been thoroughly cleanedReplace any seals that have been removedInspect all thrust washers and bushings for evidence of deterioration
1If removed, install an upper steering shaft bushing, lower seal and upper seal in the swivel bracketBoth seal lips face out Coat seal's outside diameter with OMC Gasket Sealing Compound Coat the bushing and seal lips with OMC Tripe-Guard grease
