1411 41Place the starter rope in the rope anchorPosition the
anchor in the handleUntie the knot and allow rope to recoil into housing
1421 42Position the starter lockout lever assembly on the housingTorque retaining screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)43Inspect the starter lockout levers for damage and wear1431 44If required, replace the lockout components as follows:
Coat the shaft with OMC Triple-Guard grease Place larger flat washer
