6Torque the two screws and one nut, powerhead to exhaust adaptor, to 144-168 inIbs(16-19 Nm)
7If equipped with power steering, install the systemApply OMC Nut Lock to threads of reservoir to cylinder block screwsTorque the reservoir to cylinder block screws to 18-20 ftIbs(25-27 Nm)Route all hoses and secure in their original locations8Thoroughly clean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with OMC Cleaning Solvent and let air dry9Install flywheel key in crankshaft with flat side parallel to crankshaft centerline
Align the crankshaft key and flywheel keyway and install flywheelCoat the threads of new flywheel retaining nut with OMC Gasket Sealing Compound and torque it to 140-150 ftIbs(190-204 Nm)Install the six power steering pulley retaining screwsTorque to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
