all carburetor holes and passages with small syringe filled with isopropyl alcoholBlow passages and carburetor dry with compressed air of not more than 25 PSI (172 kPa)Inspect float needle and seat for wear or distortionReplace both pieces if damage is noted
5Inspect throttle body and throttle shaft Check body and shaft for excessive wear or side play Check throttle plates for looseness or incorrect seatingMaximum throttle plate clearance is 0.002 in(0,05 mm) Check throttle plate retaining screws for tightness6771
If necessary, remove the throttle body core plugs by driving small punch through the center of the plug and gently prying it outDo not drive punch more than '8 in(3,2 mm) into the plug, you might damage the calibration pocket
