Before proceeding, ensure that the throttle cam follower screw is still loose
Loosen expansion link lock ring and turn adjustment knob counterclockwise until internal spring tension is relaxed
While holding the cam follower against throttle cambegin to adjust the throttle arm stop screw until the cam and the cam follower are touching at bisect point Q) on the throttle camWhen the throttle arm stop screw is properly adjusted and the cam and the cam follower are touching at the bisect point, tighten the cam follower screw
After adjusting the pickup point, turn the throttle arm stop screw one turn counterclockwise to move the throttle cam away from the cam follower Wide Open Throttle Stop

With the engine not running, move the throttle arm and linkage toward wide open throttle positionLoosen the locknut CDAdjust the wide open throttle stop screw so that the carburetor throttle plates approach wide open positionAdjust the screw until the W.O.Tmark in the cam follower bracket is facing directly forward and perpendicular with the air silencer baseTighten the locknut CD while holding screw Throttle Cable Installation "'" 1Using the hardware supplied, attach the throttle cable to the throttle armTighten locknut securely2Refer to Throttle Cable Installation, Section 8, for correct cable tensioning procedure
