i twist and remove spark plug lead
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, Remove screw from rear of coverRemove lower cover
3Remove filler cap from fuel tankf211al 4Remove four mounting screws and lift starter from powerheadObserve position of throttle detent spring under front port side screw and clips under both front screws5Replace filler cap on fuel tankRemoval3, 4BRH Do not remove large screw from top of engine cover at this time because starter spring will disengage and unwind forcibly when removing engine cover
