}I]1321 5Install two new driveshaft seals back-to-back using OMC Upper Driveshaft Seal Installer PIN 327431Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the sealsInstall the inner seal CD with the lip facing in and the outside seal Q) with the lip facing outLiberally apply OMC Triple-Guard grease between seals331 6Locate the pinionthrust washer (0, and pinion thrust bearing and position them in the order shown in the gearcase341 7Lubricate the driveshaft up to the water pump drive pin flat and then slide it through the upper driveshaft seals and bearingThen rotate the shaft to engage the pinion351 8Position the water intake screen in the gearcaseThe three round tabs on the screen should be facing upward toward where the water pump plate will be positioned361 9Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides of new impeller plate gasketPosition the gasket on the gearcase371 10Position the impeller plate as shown381 11Lightly coat the exterior of the impeller cup with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundPlace the impeller cup in the mpeller housingLightly oil the impeller blades and install the mpeller in the housing in counterclockwise directionA pair of ong nosed pliers will help in this situation12524
