STEPSTOP CIRCUIT TEST Stop Button Elimination Test 1Remove the black lead
from the ignition module
To avoid possible shock hazards, do not handle ignition coil or tester leads during the test2Crank engine and observe the results at the spark tester If spark now jumps 38 in(0,9 mm) alternately at each gap, the problem is in the stop button circuitRefer to the Stop Button Circuit Test If there is no spark at the tester, proceed to STEP SENSOR COIL CRANKING TESTS If there is spark at one gap, proceed to STEP -IGNITION MODULE CRANKING TESTSStop Button Circuit Test
