Assembly 1Lubricate the armature shaft bearing surface with one drop of SAE No10 oilLubricate the armature shaft on and above the pinion helix with General Electric Versilube OMC PIN 330615 f41
2Assemble the brush end cap with brushes and springs to the armature shaftPlace new gasket on the brush end cap
f51 3Align the brush end cap mark with the mark on E.J ill the frame and magnet assemblyAssemble the brush end
cap to the frame and magnet assemblyObserve caution when inserting armature into frame and magnet assembly as the permanent magnets in the frame exert extreme pulling force on the armature which could result in pinched fingers
4Place the washer on the armature shaftPlace new gasket on the drive end cap
5Align the drive end cap mark with the mark on the frame and magnet assemblyAssemble the drive end cap to the frame and magnet assembly6Put drop of oil on the two thru-bolts and install the thruboltsTighten the thru-bolts to torque of 30-40 inIbs(3,4-4,6 Nm) Apply OMC Black Neoprene Dip to the seams between the end caps and frame and magnet assembly
