Installation 1Inspect the starter mountsIf the mounts are damaged or wornreplace as followsRemove the mount using crescent wrench I.J9l
Apply OMC Locquic Primer and OMC Screw Lock to threads of new mount
Tighten mount securely
1201 2Install caps on starter mounts 3Install the starter lockout cable into the starter housingf211 4Position the onto the motorInstall the three starter hOUSing retaining screwsThe short screwCD is Installed on the port side ofthe starter housingTighten screws to torque of 48-72 inIbs(5,4-8 Nm)
