Gearcase Servicing9.9, 15 Removal
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leadsRemove six screws attaching gearcase to exhaust housing
3Separate gearcase and exhaust housing to expose the shift rod connectorRemove the upper connector screw4 Remove gearcase and place in suitable holding fixture Disassembly 1Remove propeller from gearcase
2the oil level plug dram gearcase
and oil filldrain plug
3Remove the four impeller housing screws
