Steering Handle Servicing9.9, 15 Removal
ill1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads
2Remove the manual starter assembly as described in Section
3Disconnect the throttle cable ball socket from the throttle linkage ballRemove the ball socket from the cable4Remove the throttle cable retainer from the lower engine coverRemove the throttle cable trunnion ball from the cable
5Remove the stop button ground lead from the ignition coil6Separate the 1-pin Amphenol connectorRemove the stop button lead from the plug using OMC Socket Removal Tool
