11Remove the fuel pump inlet hose12Disconnect the overboard water indicator hose from fitting on exhaust cover13Remove hoses from manual primerfJl 14Separate the stop switch 1-pin Amphenol connectorRemove the stop switch and ignition module ground leads from the ignition coil screwf81 15Remove the pin CD and washer from the actuator cam linkDisengage the link from the shift actuator cam 16Remove the ground lead from the powerhead Igl 17Using OMC Special 112 inBox Wrench PIN 322700, reEJ move port and starboard powerhead retaining nuts with
washers1101 18Remove the four screws retaining the powerhead to the exhaust housing
19The powerhead now can be removedAssemble the following componentsPuller Body PI 307636, three Screws PI 307641, and three Washers PI 307639 Thread OMC Lifting Eye PI 321537 into the body and engage taper of the crankshaftThen, tighten the lifting eye securelyUsing hoist, lift the powerhead from the exhaust housing It may be necessary to rock the powerhead sideways to break the gasket loose20Remove the inner exhaust tube and discard the gasket
