STEPCHARGE COIL TEST
To prevent accidental starting of engine while testing, twist and remove both spark plug leads
1Remove manual starter and flywheelRefer to Flywheel Servicing, Page 3-82Remove the two ignition module mounting screws19l 3Disconnect the brown and brownyellow lead bullet connectors4Calibrate ohmmeter on Rx100 scale and connect to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show 56025 ohms5To test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect ohmmeter red lead to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show no continuity00
