Break-In Procedure Standard Fuel TankUse 50:1 fueloil mixture in the fuel tankUse only Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant, or other NMMA certified TC-WII or TC-W lubricants at ratio not leaner than 50:1Optional AccuMix TankUse 100: fueloil mixture in the fuel tank in addition to the AccuMix systemUse only Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant, or other NMMA certified TC-WII or TC-W lubricants at ratio not leaner than 100:1Hour 1: For the first 5-10 minutes, operate engine at fast idleFrequently check operation of water pumpThere should be steady stream of water from the overboard indicator at the rear starboard corner of the lower engine coverFor remainder of first hour, engine should be operated at boat planing speedDo not operate engine over 3000 RPM, or approximately one-half throttleChange engine speed every 15 minutes
IN=J With easy-planing boats, bring the boat into planing position

with full power and then immediately reduce the throttle setting to approximately 3000 RPM (one-half throttle)BE SURE boat maintains planing attitude at this throttle setting
