Assembly

Install four detent leaf springs

and detent roller
r:j1l 2Apply OMC Moly Lube to the gear teeth, detent notch and bore of drive gearInstall drive gear and neutral lock ballEngage the detent notch with the detent roller
r:j1l 3Apply OMC Moly Lube to the gear teeth, switch ramp and
bore of the shift gearInstall shift gearengaging the gear teeth with the teeth on the drive gear
11014Install support plate5Install three screws and nuts retaining support plateReplace any nut that has lost its locking featureTorque screws to 24-36 inIbs(3-4 Nm)

6Install driveshaftMake sure the radius of the driveshaft faces the rear of the control7Apply OMC Moly Lube to the bore and sliding surfaces of the throttle arm Install throttle arm
