Throttle Friction Adjustment This feature controls the return friction on the control handleClockwise rotation will increase throttle friction and counterclockwise rotation will decrease throttle frictionThe adjustment should be just tight enough to prevent unwanted throttle "creep" under normal operating conditionsKey Switch and Primer This feature controls the engine accessories, starting, priming, and stoppingTurning the key clockwise to the first detent turns on all engine-controlled accessoriesContinuing to the second detent will energize the engine's electric starterPushing the key in at the first or second detent will engergize the fuel primer solenoidTurning the key fully counterclockwise will turn off the ignition system and all engine-controlled accessoriesFast Idle Lever This feature controls engine speed when the control handle is in NEUTRALThe lever should be raised high enough to ensure consistent idle speed and cold run-on while starting engineThe lever must be returned to the RUN position before selecting FORWARD or REVERSEAccessory Connector This feature allows convenient access to the engine accessory and tachometer circuitsSeveral OMC tachometers and wiring kits provide mating connector to simplify accessory installa tionMaximum draw on this circuit must be limited to ampsNeutral Start Switch This feature will not allow the operator to energize the engine's starter when the control is in FORWARD or REVERSEWhen the remote control is properly assembled, the switch will only allow the key switch START position to function when the control handle is NEUTRALWarning Horn This feature alerts the operator to several critical operating conditionsDepending on the engine model, the conditions might be: Overheatcontinuous tone No Oilcontinuous short pulses Low Oilshort pulse every 20 seconds Fuel Restrictioncontinuous tone at or near full throttle
