4Secure the stop button ground lead to the powerhead5Using OMC Pin Insert Tool PIN 322697, insert the stop button lead into "E" cavity of the plug6To adjust the throttle cable: aRotate the propeller shaft and shift the engine to FORWARD gear position bThread the trunnion ball and ball socket into the throttle cablecAdvance the twist grip to wide open throttle position dManually advance the armature plate to wide open throttle positioneCheck to be sure the ball socket is fully threaded on the throttle cableSnap the ball socket onto the throttle linkage ballfThread the trunnion ball on the cable until the ball will seat in pocket in lower engine cover gA slight preload must be applied to the throttle cableMark the throttle cable ballHold the armature plate against stop and rotate the ball one full turnhSecure the trunnion retainer to the lower engine cover6742
