1Using OMC Twist Grip Remover PI 390767, depress the grip detentsTighten screw and remove the grip by pulling grip and turning the idle adjustment knob clockwise2Remove the helix halves

] 3Pull the throttle pin out of the cable] 4Remove the spiral wrap5Remove the throttle cable retainer clip Pry the throttle EJ cable trunnion out of the steering handle and remove the cable6Remove the stop switch assembly from the handle
