1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads
f1l2Use OMC Pin Removal Tool PIN 322698 to remove the stop switch lead from the "E" cavity of the connector
lJ mounting screw
the stop switch ground lead from the ignition coil
f31 41 ORS and 14 modelsremove the choke knob from the
choke knob detent 10Ke, KS modelsdisconnect the fuel hoses from the primerMark the hoses for correct reassembly
L!J assembly and let the knot engage the starter pulleyRemove the
starter handle and bumper from the starter rope6Disconnect the overboard water indicator hose from the fitting on the lower engine cover7 Remove the fuel hose from the fuel pump8Remove the throttle cable from the powerhead
