BInsert umper wires between the "A," "B," "C," andD" terminals of he five -w ire connector To avoid possible shock hazards, do not handle ignition coil or tester leads during the test
CCrank eng ine and observe the results at the spark tester If spark jumps in (12 mm) alternately at both gaps, the problem is in the stop button circuit (key switch) or emergency ignition cutoff switch Refer to the Stop Switch Circuit TestRand TE Models or Key Switch Stop Circuit Testand El Models If there is no spark at the tester, proceed to Step 3Charge Coil Cranking Tests Using C.DVoltmeter If there is spark at one gap, proceed to Step 5Power Pack Cranking Tests Using C.DVoltmeter
