Shift Cable
E.J grease
1Extend shift cable and lubricate with OMC Tripe-Guard
2Verify that the fast idle lever is down in the RUN position
3Move the remote control handle to NEUTRAL
ill and neutral lockout index plate orientationRefer to Page 99
Before connecting shift cable, verify control handle position
4Rotate the propeller shaft and shift the gearcase into NEUTRALVerify gearcase neutral detent
5Place engine shift lever in the center of its free travel
