10Place the exhaust housing assembly in the steering arm and lower mount bracket f151
11 Apply GMC Locquic Primer and GMC Nut Lock to the four screws, lower mount to bracketInstall the screws and lockwashersInstall the locknuts on the upper mount screwsReplace the locknuts if definite resistance to tightening is not felt
& 12Torque the mount fasteners!
Torque the upper mount nuts to 30-32 ftIbs(41-43 Nm) Torque the lower mount screws to 24-26 ftIbs(3235 Nm)13While holding the steering handle assembly in placeunder the steering arm, install the two screws and lock nutsReplace the locknuts if definite resistance to tightening is not feltTighten the nuts to torque of 18-20 ftIbs(25-27 Nm)
