GQl1The magneto C.Dignition coil is tested with reverse polarity connectionsConnect the black lead of the tester to the primary terminal of the coil and the tester's red lead to the ground tab Connect the high tension lead of the tester to the high tension lead of the coil2Turn the meter on and slowly increase the coil currentWhen steady spark jumps the gap of the meter, note the amperage steady spark at or before maximum specified amperage indicates good coil If steady spark does not occur at or before the maximum amperage, replace the coilSurface Leakage Test
